THE EXCHANGE API

The Exchange API solution has been developed to support a range of use cases and consists of the following key modules:

Liquidity aggregation – manages multiple connections to different crypto liquidity pools offering enhanced price discovery and market depth. At the same time it removes duplication of liquidity while facilitating increased efficiency and better risk management reducing cost and complexity.

Order book and matching engine – uses a time price priority algorithm to allocate trades among competing bids and offers at the same price. Matching those bids and offers entered into the order book first have priority over similar bids or offers that were subsequently entered into the order book.

Core ledger and payment engine – maintains and reconciles multi-currency fiat and crypto account balances. Connects to client money bank accounts, retrieves crypto addresses of custodial or non-custodial wallets and creates a gateway to receive and send crypto as well as fiat funds.

Transaction monitoring and compliance – interrogates fiat and crypto transactions to enable AML/CTF compliance and combat financial crime.

Reporting – provides rich data feed to business intelligence, management information and accounting systems.
